We Found The Most Beautiful Place In Alexandria!
When I told my son recently that I had been using a senior personals and dating site, I thought he was going to have a heart attack. I'm the older one, after all!
I think he presumed that all older people are complete ignoramuses when it comes to the internet and that dating sites are something that only younger people use. Well, I could teach him a thing or two - after all, I'm the one dating now and he's the one who has been single for months on end!
He still teased me about it endlessly until fairly recently when he had reason to thank me for ever signing up for a senior personals site.
My new partner was able to impart to him some fantastic advice about a place to stay in when he was visiting Alexandria, as she knows one of the people that work at the Heritage Guest House. Without that advice, he would probably have ended up sleeping on the street! I would have left him out there - it would have served him right for constantly making fun of me!
